Independent Sales Development Representative

A subsidiary of Portland-based Brickyard Collective, LLC, Brickyard Brands is a small owner and/or distributor of emerging Maine-based CPG brands in the outdoors and pet markets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sell our catalog of Maine-owned brands
- Sell to independent and small chain stores throughout the region: campgrounds, toy stores, hardware and general stores, outdoors outfitters, surf shops, pet stores, hobby shops, sporting goods, gift shops, etc.
- Maintain a database of stores and contacts
- Represent catalog at trade shows and other events, as-needed
- Deliver occasional fulfilled orders, as-needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Motivated, resilient, coachable, collaborative, creative, and curious
- Fearless and respectful in cold calling; must possess a willingness to get in the car & drive / pound the pavement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Proven ability to learn and apply new methods to daily activities
- Proficient with Google Suite
- Previous customer service experience necessary; previous sales experience preferred
- Minimum requirement of 15 hours/week expected but work as much as you'd like!
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Must be hirable as a 1099 Employee
Benefits & Pay:
- $1,000/month base
- Monthly cell phone stipend
- 5-15% sliding scale commission on all sales
